Symmetry Systems is a security research firm whose technology builds an “access graph” — a map of how every identity, application, and data source connects across an enterprise. Led by CEO Mohit Tiwari, the company has focused on data security and AI governance, areas of growing concern as enterprises deploy autonomous AI agents.
In May 2026, Zscaler announced plans to acquire Symmetry Systems, folding its access-graph technology into Zscaler’s Zero Trust Exchange platform.
