New Civil Liberties Alliance
The New Civil Liberties Alliance (NCLA) is a nonpartisan civil liberties organization that has led legal challenges to the SEC’s no-admit/no-deny settlement policy. After the rescission in May 2026, the NCLA continued pressing the Supreme Court to review the policy on First Amendment grounds to ensure it cannot return.
