Alibaba Cloud is the cloud computing and AI division of Alibaba Group. Headquartered in Hangzhou, China, it operates its international business unit out of Singapore. The unit competes globally with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, particularly across Asia-Pacific.
Alibaba Cloud is the developer of the Qwen family of large language models. In May 2026, it unveiled Qwen 3.7-Max — a trillion-parameter agentic model — at its first international Qwen Conference, held in Singapore, along with the Qwen Cloud platform and the JVS Agent Suite.
